ABOUT CRICKET SCIENCE
Cricket Science started in 1991 following the development and production of an audio program in which variable frequencies of tree crickets were recorded in a variety of actual and staged conditions to teach processes by which formal and informal observations create ideas, including myths as well as fact; to illustrate the processes by which science discloses myths and untruths while at the same time discovering reproducible truths that have powerful predictive potential.
This early product of Cricket Science, Myths and Science of Cricket Chirps, has since found a place in science and statistics classrooms throughout the U.S., and was followed in subsequent years with the creation of a wide variety of other instructional, scientifically-related products, including SCIENTIFIC PROCESSES: Origin of Knowledge, a comprehensive review for students as well as teachers to illustrate the mechanisms by which knowledge is acquired.
